It ALL began with a song! The song was A GOOD LIFE. April of 2023, I met Tasman Sharp of the Tasman Sharp and the Ripsnorters Band, at the Iron Horse Bar & Grill. He was singing his little heart away, and God whispered in my spirit, “write him a song.” That was the start of a magical journey, because I listened to that voice. We have really had an amazing time creating music, writing an album together, hosting an album release party, and going on to host the Tasman Sharp and Friends summer concert series in 2025. We captured our first of many interviews where we sat down with Rob Roark as a writing team on KZSM San Marcos Radio. - His first song to ever hit radio was a song I wrote called Christmas Day. We were both thrilled. We've had some great adventures and I sure there are many more to come .

Elle Townley was born a star. She was only 16 years old, when I had the blessing of meeting her. She and I took an old song I wrote with the intention of LeAnn Rimes cutting it back in the 90's, and made it a hit in 2025! Taking off My Halo, really took off. Our song quickly hit the charts and became a fan favorite. I am excited to say after two attempts at the BIG win, she finally won Young Artist of the Year at the 2025 TCMA Awards. I was also honored to write a story about her for the UNSUNG Music Magazine (NB,TX). She was also the winner of the first ever 2025 Songbird Song Champion. We have had an exciting journey so far, and there is more to come! I could not be more proud of her and honored to be on her musical journey.

Matt Pfannstiel, of MASB Studio, is truly one of the most talented humans I have ever met. He can sing lead,  harmonies and back ground vocals. He can play lead, rhythm, and bass guitar. He can beat the drums, and he is one awesome studio producer. He is a one stop music shop for all your recording needs.  Now, that the commercial is over, let me tell you a little about our journey. As you know, for 22 years I put my pen down and never thought I would go to a studio again, because I could no longer play music. Well, obviously God had a different plan. Day one,  when we met, he and I connected on a musical soul-mate level. He could hear my song melody as I sung it and just picked up the guitar and magic happened. I have been so blessed to have had him produce and demo my songs since  March 2023.  If I could book him daily, I would. It's just that easy to work and create with him.  On a side note, I took a song to him to demo, and he had a few change ideas. He pitched them, I liked them, we cut them, as a co-write team on our rock'n  true Texan summertime beach loving song called Beach Babes.  - If you need a studio guy in the New Braunfels area, though I don't want to share,  ;) look up Matt. You will be glad you did!  If you need his digits, contact me.  I send all my artist there to record my songs, if possible. He's that cool. 

Might I add; he walked away with two titles at the Songbird Music Awards for  MVP Studio Guy &  BEST Male Vocals on a Demo! 

By the way he is one of the founding members of  the Jay Eric and Rumor Town band! His brother Jay Eric and he have been performing over 30 years. I first fell in love with them when they were the famed Jay Eric and Blieders Creek Band founded in New Braunfels, Texas.  They are an AMAZING group of guys and their songs are no stranger to the charts! Y'all check them out! If you want to book them for a wedding I can hook you up!

Bruce Schwarz is, and always will be a hero of my music world! Because of him, my song Thanksgiving I wrote and collaborated with Mike Atkins, was my first song to hit the radio! It aired Thanksgiving day 11-23-23 @ 11:00 AM & 4:00 PM.  Then one month later on  12-20-23 through 1-1-24 my song Christmas Day, sung by Tasman Sharp aired for Christmas. Which was also a BIG moment for Tasman as it was his first single to hit radio! What a wild holiday season for this Songbird, Mike & Tasman. Forever grateful to Texas 46 Radio.  Y'all tune in and enjoy the music!

Hey, I can't leave out my friends  Matthew Briggs & Zack Walther at Beagles Nest Studio.  It was truly one of the best days when I went to record Summertime with Tasman Sharp. I am sure if you are from this area those two names are right at the top of your list of awesome guys! I have been fortunate enough to know them and their heart for the community when they answered the call to action and donated their time to a chili cook-off fundraiser I was hosting back in 2019.  I was already a fan of Zack & Matthew, but this was the icing on the musical cake.  As fate would have it, I had the best birthday serenade by my friends at Freiheit Country Store, and then I was able to hire them for a wedding gig for my Married By Sheri (other life).  Our paths have crossed on this musical journey time and time again, and as i said, what an amazing joy to have them produce and lay down tracks on a song I wrote with Tasman.  Life is Good Y'all.   Also, Mr. Briggs was honored at the Songbird Music Awards! So thankful for the  bond of friendship I have with these crazy cool guys. If you are not a fan, why not? Look them up @ Zack Walther Band

One of the coolest moments EVER! My song Hey Hey Little Elf made it's debut at the  outdoor 2025  holiday event  at Gruene Ice Rink in  famous Gruene, Texas. Living my BEST life! 

Honky Tonk is making waves! I am so proud of this fun timeless song I wrote at my magic music table. As soon as I met Matt Tejeda, I knew who I wrote it for. Also nominated for a Josie Award in Nashville TN 11/2/25, for country song of the year, and hit the Texas charts in the top 100 & made it to the top 50. Rooting for a win!
