Because of Tasman Sharp, I am back in the world of songwriting! Tasman Sharp, is an up-and-coming talent based in New Braunfels, Texas who has just released his debut album, 'A Good Life.' His debut title and first single, was written by (yours truly) Sheri Swartz, along with his next single, If Wishes Were Fishes. Tasman & I have co-written It's A Weird Small World, and collaborated on Summertime, and She's My Girl, which lyrics were written by (yours truly) Sheri and Tasman created the music and provided the stellar vocals. Tasman has added his famed DR Pepper Cowboy song, his beloved Me & My Dog song and his first love song, called Eternity (which is one of my favorites). His impressive resume includes opening for renowned acts like Two Tons of Steel at Gruene Hall, Shenandoah at the Comal County Fair, Django Walker, Isaac Jakob Band, and The Stateline Band. Recently, he headlined the Main Stage at the Austin Marathon 2024, performing for a crowd of over 20,000 for a 94-minute show. With a diverse setlist of covers and originals, performed live with his band the Ripsnorters, can keep audiences entertained for hours.
