~ Songbird Sheri Swartz,  is a multi - nominated songwriter, and the 2025 Josie Music Awards Songwriter of the Year. She stepped on the iconic stage of the Grand Ole Opry on her birthday November 2, 2025. The milestone marked not just an achievement, but a testament to a lifelong commitment to songwriting excellence.

   She's a Texas born and raised Christian, Country, Rockabilly, & Pop songwriter. Her professional journey began in the 90's, where she enjoyed many facets of the music industry.  She proudly served as the Austin, Texas Nashville Songwriters Association (NSAI) workshop coordinator. She is no stranger to Nashville and Texas songwriter circles.  

     As fate would have it, tragedy struck, in the form of illness, and she laid her pen down in 2001.  After a twenty-two year (metaphorical) music coma, in 2023 she has made a miracle comeback, scoring songs recorded by Tasman Sharp and Mike Atkins. By 2024 her pen was on fire! She has written with hit singer/songwriter, Bernie Nelson, who released their song 'Amazing Saving Grace' in 2025. Credits continue, as she has written with and had cuts by  Texas rockabilly emerging artist John Michael & The Retro Cats, up and coming stars, Dylan Rhys, Ty Smith, and the TCMA Young Artist of the Year,  Elle Townley and rising Texas stars, Chloee Rae, Dan Westley White, Alli Mattice,  Jenna Katherine, and the 2025 Country Group of the Year, Matt Tejeda and the Backwoods Band to name a few. The year 2026 kicked off with a bang as she partnered with hit singer/songwriter, Steven McClintock.                             

 "God is doing a thing" and, "My Pen is on Fire" are two quotes you will hear her say daily.
